Tomato Pickin'

I planned ahead and knew that I wanted to can Tomato Sauce...so I planted one Roma Tomato plant at my house and one at my parents house. When the tomatoes were ready, my dad was in Las Vegas and he said I should take all of his Roma's too (3 plants worth). I got lucky because I was able to make all my sauce from tomatoes that we grew-aka- I made a years worth of tomato sauce for free!!!

I canned sauce last year, so I knew what I was doing...but I forgot how time consuming it can be!
Michael was nice enough to capture me filling up the jars! :)

And here is the final product.
