Game Crazy

It seems we have been playing games...
Well first- we have been playing Bejeweled for a long time, like 2-3 years. You can play it on msn.com and go to games and it is free. Or you can buy it-which we did- and you can play longer and more levels. Michael has a high score of over 1,000,000!!!! So Bejeweled is our main addiction.
We have Crossword Puzzles. We get the paper everyday...and there are 2 crosswords in each paper so we try to do them. It is hard! We say it's hard because we don't have the background knowledge. What we do is look at one crossword puzzle together and try to figure out the words and if we can't then we go searching online. That makes it more fun because we look up different words and phrases and try to figure out the answer- And we do it together.

We have a hand held Yahtzee game, which I usually play before bed, while in bed.

We have Michael's Game Boy, he usually plays baseball before bed, while in bed.

And finally- we have Cards and Board Games...which we break out when we have company.

All in all I think games are good. They get your mind thinking. I have always heard to play more games as you get older so your brain doesn't get bored! And it's not like we play games every minute of the day...we work on the crossword for an hour in the morning while we have breakfast and play with Ryan. Sometimes one of us will jump on the computer while Ryan is napping and play a short game of Bejeweled. And then whoever is ready for bed first will usually start playing Yahtzee/Baseball until the other one of us is ready to go to sleep!

"play a game every once in a while- it keeps your brain fresh!"
