"sitting down to stand UP"

Yesterday, marked a famous day in History...can anyone guess?

54 years ago, Rosa Parks sat down on a bus and refused to get up so a white man could sit down.  She took a stand for her rights.  She was arrested but it did not bother her.  Rosa Parks led many Civil Rights groups and had many hardships during her life.

Today, people of all races look to her in admiration.  She gave people hope and courage...most of all she stood up for her rights- as a human being.

We all have rights- it's important to remember that.
